The practice of C. Patrick Ngwolo focuses on criminal defense, including Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), drug related offenses, and white collar crime. He has tried and won various cases from drug possession to DUIs in courts across the state of Texas.
Mr. Ngwolo’s legal experience includes being a founding member of Ngwolo & Banks, PLLC and an associate at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP with a litigation focus. Mr. Ngwolo received his BS in computer engineering at the University of Oklahoma in 2001 and his J.D. in 2005 from The University of Texas School of Law. Among other accomplishments, Mr. Ngwolo was a member of The Board of Advocates and The Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Team.
Mr. Ngwolo is a member of the State Bar of Texas. His community involvement includes membership in the National Urban League Young Professionals and service on the board of directors of various nonprofit organizations, including Hope For Families, Inc. He also previously served on the national executive board of the National Society of Black Engineers.
Mr. Ngwolo is an award winning lawyer, speaking for the rights of civilians in various media outlets. Among his accomplishments and as a former member of the Pro Bono College, he is particularly proud of being awarded the Pro Bono Excellence Award, showing his commitment to serving the community. In addition to his legal career, Mr. Ngwolo is committed to his faith, having founded Resurrection Houston and studying at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
