What if I've already spoken to police or investigators?
Let intake staff or the attorney know as soon as possible during your consultation. It is important context for your defense, but it does not need to be detailed in writing before a conflict check clears.
How fast will someone respond?
Initial triage typically begins promptly after submission. If your matter is urgent, for example you are in custody, facing an imminent court date, or have just been served with a search warrant or subpoena, call the office directly rather than waiting on a form response.
Does starting intake mean I've hired the firm?
No. Submitting information begins the intake process only. Representation begins only after a conflict check is complete and a written engagement agreement is signed by both you and the attorney.
